Put us down for next year. I would be run out of town if I did not bring back The Kerry Boys!

Tanglewood or Peckham Park?
Last Thursday, August 11th, was a lazy, hazy, crazy day of summer, but at least a hundred Middlefielders and Durhamites packed up their children, dogs and lawn chairs and braved the humidity to hear the ever-popular Kerry Boys serenade them against a brilliant pink and grey sunset at Tanglewood-I mean Peckham Park.
I have always thought that this duo sounds like Peter, Paul and Mary (without the Mary), and our citizens were treated to a classic evening of Irish folk music. The boys did it all - ancient Gaelic, contemporary and, of course, a couple of Ireland's greatest hits like "Galway Bay" and "Danny Boy". It was more than just entertainment - it was soothing to the senses and just mellow enough for these surroundings.
The ice cream melted, but so did our hearts. We Irish and non-Irish townspeople salute you, Kerry's, and look forward to future summer concerts here at our own mini-Tanglewood.

The Kerry Boys delivered a spectacular performance! The local patrons were enthralled with their uplifting Irish ballads and entertaining show. Thank you for a great evening.

We booked The Kerry Boys for the first time in our 5 year summer concert history. As a small town with a definite budget, we need to be certain of successful events. Not only were the adults singing along, but the kids had a great time too. After the concert, a member of our Town Board of Finance and his wife recommended that we book them again. Excellent advice!

The Kerry Boys have been playing for the Seymour Culture and the Arts " Summer in the Park" series for three seasons. They draw one of our largest crowds, with their entertaining audience participation and story telling songs. We look forward to many more crowd pleasing seasons.

The Kerry Boys' performance was excellent. We had a very nice crowd and the Irish music was was enjoyed by all ages. The band was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to having them perform again.
